What is Vinyl flooring?
Our vinyl floors have been designed to provide a resilient and peak performance even in challenging environments. With its enhanced durability and various colours to choose from, they are ideal for residential and commercial environments. The integrated fibreglass and stabilisation core provides acoustic insulation creating a strong core for dimensional stability and flexibility and extra sound absorption.
Softer and warmer underfoot than natural wood flooring. Additional cushioning in the backing helps make the product more comfortable.
Our vinyls have surpassed all Australian Emission testing standards so as to comply with the Green Building Council of Australia and Green Star Office Design criteria.
Where can Mink Vinyl flooring be used?
Mink vinyl flooring is suitable for both residential or commercial applications and can be used in all areas of the home. Its hard wearing and waterproof properties make it perfect for high traffic areas such as kitchens and passages. It can also be used in wet areas such as bathrooms and laundries.
Our vinyl floors are compatible with hydronic under floor heating up to 27°C
Vinyl durability and maintenance
Because we only supply the highest quality vinyls you can be sure they will last the test of time.
The Polyurethane (PU) topcoat acts as the final layer atop of the product’s multi-layer construct. Infused with various minerals it provides superior protection against scratches and stains. Thanks to the PU topcoat, the vinyl shows no visible change under UV light testing.
As it is 100% waterproof, it is suitable for wet mopping.
We recommend using the Bona cleaning products on your new vinyl flooring. Bona floor cleaning products are made in Sweden. They are non-toxic, PH Neutral, water-based and Greenguard certified.

Our Vinyl flooring is made out of 100% Virgin material. They are 100% recyclable, low on VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) and phthalate free which makes it an eco-friendly flooring solution and ensures a healthy indoor climate for any space.

Our PU technology ensures that there’s
no need for additional surface
treatments following installation.
Our Vinyl has been rigorously tested against Acetone, Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda), Hydrogen Peroxide (bleach), shoe polish, citric acid and coffee.
These commonly occurring substances had ZERO effect on our LVT range.
Should you need to replace a piece,
simply lift the damaged plank and
replace with a new one.

The product can be installed in bathrooms, saunas, laundries and any other area in which high levels of steam and or moisture are present however local, state and federal standards for water proofing may require additional procedures for compliance.
Direct glue installation is the best option for heavy traffic areas. This method requires perfectly clean, smooth and dry subfloors. As the planks are adhered directly to the subfloor, Vinyl will perform far better under rolling loads as opposed to loose lay or click installations.

Lifetime Structural Warranty
Covered by a Lifetime Structural Warranty. Under normal residential conditions and with proper maintenance, the product will be free of structural defects such as delamination, buckling and twisting. This structural warranty does not cover surface wear.
30 Year Residential Wear Warranty. The Range is covered by a 30 Year Residential Wear Warranty. Under normal residential conditions and with proper maintenance, the wear layer system will not wear through within 30 years from the date of installation. Gloss reduction and scratches are not considered wear through and are therefore not covered by this warranty. Please refer to our Residential maintenance guide for information on how to maintain your floor.
10 Year Commercial Wear Warranty
The Range is covered by a 10 Year Commercial Wear Warranty.
Under normal commercial conditions and with proper maintenance, the wear layer system will not wear through within 10 years from the date of installation. Gloss reduction and scratches are not considered wear through and are therefore not covered by this warranty. Please refer to our Commercial maintenance guide for information on how to maintain your floor.

For supply only orders, our hard flooring can be picked up from our Blackburn showroom or from our supplier warehouses. Please contact us to see if we have a warehouse located in your area.
Pick up from the warehouse incurs a $45 handling charge for quantities less than 1 pallet. Pick up from our showroom may incur a handling charge depending on the product ordered.
Delivery can be arranged for most areas in Australia. Please contact us for a delivery quote.

Care & Maintenance
It is only natural that vinyl floors will show signs of wear over time. You can expect years of beauty from your floor with regular cleaning and maintenance routines.
Always apply felt pads under any furniture or chair legs to prevent scratches.
Exposure to sunlight's UV rays accelerates oxidation and aging of materials. This may change the colour of the floor. Periodically rearrange the furniture to allow the floor to age evenly.
Never use any of the following products (or similar in nature) on your floor: ammonia-based cleaners, acrylic finishes, wax-based products, bleach, polishes, oil soap, abrasive cleaning soaps, or acidic materials such as vinegar. Many of these products pit
or etch the finish of your flooring or prevent the proper use of recommended maintenance materials.
Damp mop with a pH neutral detergent such as Bona products designed specifically for vinyl flooring.

Does Vinyl Need An Underlay?
Does Vinyl Need An Underlay?
No. Our vinyl is designed to be glued to the subfloor so there's no need to install a separate underlay. It is possible to glue down a rubber underlay underneath the vinyl for improved acoustics and insulation. We recommend Dunlop's Advantage 3 rubber/cork 3mm underlay for this purpose.
Can I Install Vinyl In Wet Areas?
Can I Install Vinyl In Wet Areas?
Yes. Vinyl is fully waterproof and extremely hard wearing. If installing in bathrooms, you will still need a professionally installed waterproofing system/screed under the vinyl flooring.
Can I Sand Vinyl Floors?
Can I Sand Vinyl Floors?
No. Vinyl is a man-made product and cannot be refinished like timber. If a board is damaged it can sometimes be repaired or may need to be replaced. We recommend keeping a spare box or two in case of future damage.
