LSPC stands for Lightweight Stone Plastic Composite. It has a design layer, top wear layer and attached underlay.

This fire-retardant and waterproof flooring is exceptionally easy to maintain, providing a dimensionally stable surface that won’t warp, swell, or peel over time.

Waterproof Hybrid Flooring is recommended for use in internal residential or commercial areas including, but not limited to, living areas, kitchens, bedrooms, hallways and stairs.  If installed in wet areas, such as bathrooms or laundries, installation must be according to installation instructions, wet areas not included are areas/rooms with built in drains, such as showers or sauna, warranty will be void if floor installed in areas/rooms with built in drains.

Heavy objects such bookcases, billiard tables, kitchen units, that exceed 200kg/object area or if the load is greater than 30kg/cm2 should not be placed on a floating system. Damage can occur due to incorrect expansion and lack of correct raft movement.

If this flooring is intended to be installed over an existing wooden floor, it is recommended to repair any loose boards or squeaks before you begin installation.

Storage:

Ensure the environment resembles installation conditions (20°C and 40-60% humidity) to avoid material damage.  Cartons should be placed in the installation area and remain unopened until commencement of installation.

Heated Subfloors

Most Hybrid Flooring can be installed over a heated slab. 

Ensure the radiant heat surface temperature never exceeds 27°C (81°F). Before installing over newly constructed radiant heat systems, operate the system at maximum capacity to force any residual moisture from the cementitious topping of the radiant heat system. The maximum moisture content of the screed is 1.5% (CM method). Shut down the floor heating at least 48 hours prior to installation. Make sure that the temperature in the room is at least 15°C (60 °F) during installation. It is recommended that the radiant heat be applied in a gradual manner after installing the flooring.

Shrinking between boards, cracking and minor cupping can be expected when installing hydronic underfloor heating and does not constitute as a product defect. 

If the flooring product has a 5G or drop locking system and is floated over a heated slab it is required that Crosslinked PVA glue be used as per the regular tongue and groove installation. No other form of underfloor heating is recommended.

Subfloor Preparation

Ensure the subfloor is flat and free from debris. For floating floors this generally does not exceed 2mm beneath a 1m long straight edge.  For concrete subfloors a moisture barrier is required.

After Installation

Direct sunlight should be minimised with window coverings to prevent heat-related damage. 

Never use any of the following products (or similar in nature) on your floor: ammonia-based cleaners, acrylic finishes, wax-based products, bleach, polishes, oil soap, abrasive cleaning soaps, or acidic materials such as vinegar. Many of these products pit or etch the finish of your flooring or prevent the proper use of recommended maintenance materials.

25 Year Residential Wear Warranty. Covered by a 25 Year Residential Wear Warranty. Under normal residential conditions and with proper maintenance, the coating system will not wear through within 25 years from the date of installation. Gloss reduction and scratches are not considered
wear through and are therefore not covered by this warranty. Damage resistance does not include scratches, chips, dents, tears or gaps due to seasonal movement of planks. Please
refer to our Residential maintenance guide for information on how to
maintain your floor.

5 Year Commercial Wear Warranty

The Range is covered by a 5 Year Commercial Wear Warranty.
Under normal commercial conditions and with proper maintenance,
the wear layer system will not wear through within 5 years from the
date of installation. Gloss reduction and scratches are not considered
wear-through and are therefore not covered by this warranty. Please
refer to our Commercial maintenance guide for information on how
to maintain your floor.

Pick up from the warehouse incurs a $45 handling charge for quantities less than 1 pallet. Pick up from our showroom may incur a handling charge depending on the product ordered.

It is only natural that hybrid floors will show signs of wear over time. You can expect years of beauty from your floor with regular cleaning and maintenance routines.

Always apply felt pads under any furniture or chair legs to prevent scratches.

Exposure to sunlight's UV rays accelerates oxidation and aging of materials. This may change the colour of the floor. Periodically rearrange the furniture to allow the floor to age evenly.
