Bona R820 adhesive is a great all-round choice for fixing up to 105mm wide solid timber overlay or 14mm engineered timber floors over a variety of substrates.

With an open time of up to 60 minutes, Bona’s silane formulation with Titanium cross-linking technology means faster curing to enable floors to be walked on in as little as 8 hours or sanded and finished after 24 hours.

Excellent Green Grab properties give rapid initial bond strength to keep timber in place and minimise hollow spots. Bona R820 can be used as a combined moisture barrier and acoustic insulation layer when applied with the Bona Trowel Plus system.

Where can Bona R820 be used?

• Adheres to all wood type flooring - solid timber, engineered timber and parquetry
• Suitable substrates include: Cementitious screed / Concrete, floors levelled with levelling compounds (min. 2 mm thick), board floors i.e. plywood, chipboard, etc.
  
• The substrate must be even, dry to the touch, clean, free from cracks and physically sound. The surface should also be slightly textured.
