What is Blackbutt timber flooring?

Blackbutt is a very dense hardwood.  The added density provides natural resistance to termites. It is typically grown in the coastal regions of Queensland and New South Wales.

Blackbutt is a beautiful and versatile floor, with warm colours and interesting grain patterns that offering variety and result in a visually beautiful floor.  It ranges in colour from golden yellow to pale brown, with soft pink elements.

Where can Blackbutt flooring be used?

Blackbutt is one of the most popular timbers in Australia which is suitable for all areas of the home, excluding wet areas.
